Lilian Lee-Cutts
Registered Counsellor – Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)
Lili is originally from the UK and is exceptionally warm, approachable and committed. She is an experienced integrative psychotherapist who works with adults and adolescents to navigate life’s emotional and relational complexities with greater awareness, resilience, and self-compassion. Her practice is rooted in the belief that meaningful change occurs when we attend to the whole person – mind, body, and nervous system – within a safe and attuned therapeutic relationship.
With a calm, grounded presence, Lili creates a space where clients feel truly seen, fully accepted, whilst also gently challenged. She honours the uniqueness of each person’s lived experience, with respect for the distinct histories and perspectives each person carries with them.
Lili’s work draws on a broad range of evidence-based approaches, including Attachment-Focused EMDR, Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her trauma-informed, somatic orientation supports clients in regulating the nervous system, processing unresolved experiences, and cultivating a stronger connection to themselves and their inner resources.
A strong foundation of her work lies in attachment theory and she helps clients to uncover how early caregiving experiences continue to shape their patterns of intimate connection, emotional expression, and self-worth — guiding them in the long term to build healthier relationships both with themselves and with others.
She has supported a diverse range of clients facing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, compulsive disorders, life transitions, career stress, relationship challenges, and identity-related concerns. Her culturally responsive approach reflects her commitment to creating an inclusive, affirming space for each client’s unique identity and journey.
Born and raised in the UK to parents from Hong Kong, Lili brings a deep, lived understanding of cross-cultural identity, intergenerational dynamics, and minority stress. Her perspective is further shaped by her 16-year career in senior-level marketing in London, as well as her current experience as a mother of two — all of which inform her grounded, real-world approach to counselling.
"Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves."
