Brendan Mui
Registered Counsellor – Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)
Brendan is a trauma-informed counsellor who works with individuals and families navigating emotional and relational challenges. He has particular experience with supporting ASD and ADHD children, teens, and adults, as well as clients dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, and identity concerns. Brendan is especially attuned to the experiences of men who may struggle with emotional expression, fatherhood, or interpersonal conflict.
In his work, Brendan brings a grounded and compassionate presence, creating a space where clients can make sense of their inner worlds and reconnect with their values. His therapeutic approach is shaped by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices, with a growing interest in integrating parts work and somatic awareness.
Brendan sees individuals across a wide age range, from children to adults. He supports clients from all walks of life and is experienced in working with couples and families seeking to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, or process difficult histories.
"You don't need to be unbroken to move forward — just willing to take one step in the direction of what matters."
