Audrey Lum

(she/her) • M.Couns (In-Training)

Audrey brings 10 years of experience working within the Family and State Courts, with extensive exposure to complex matters including family violence, child protection, divorce, and high-conflict family dynamics. Her work in these settings has given her a strong understanding of systemic processes, risk considerations, and the layered realities families face during periods of crisis and transition.

She has also spent 6 years as a counsellor in a university setting, supporting young adults through developmental transitions, identity exploration, academic stress, relationship challenges, and mental health concerns. Her diverse clinical and organisational experiences have shaped a practice that is investigative, creative, and deeply compassionate — honing her ability to work with individuals experiencing complex, long-standing, or deeply rooted issues, and to support meaningful transformation.

Audrey works from a trauma-informed lens, grounded in the belief that healing involves both the mind and the body. Trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Somatic Experiencing, she integrates nervous system awareness into her clinical work, meeting clients where they are and pacing therapy in ways that feel safe and resourcing. Her approach is integrative and thoughtfully tailored, drawing from CBT, ACT, Narrative and Schema Therapy, parts-work with the inner child, and depth-oriented modalities such as Sandplay. She also incorporates Projective Art and Sound when healing and growth need to unfold beyond words.

Audrey has a special interest in supporting individuals navigating existential crises, relationship challenges, divorce, depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, BPD, spiritual abuse, and trauma. At Wishbone, she offers grounded, attuned, and integrative care – holding space for both practical coping and deeper emotional processing, in service of sustainable and embodied change.

“When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.” Karl A. Menniger
